FC3 HAITI – Haiti Donations Are Tax Deductible: Obama Signs Bill For 2009 Taxes
Posted: January 24, 2010 Filed under: More FC3 Leave a comment
Friends,
Taxpayers will be able to write off charitable donations to Haiti earthquake relief efforts when they file their 2009 taxes this spring under a bill President Barack Obama signed Friday.
The measure sped through Congress, receiving final approval Thursday.
Under current law, donors would have to wait until they file their 2010 returns next year to take the deductions. The bill would allow donations made by the end of February to be deducted from 2009 returns.
P.S. Find out if your company matches the donations raised by you! Many companies encourage their employees to get involved, if you raise $500, you company may match your donation!!!!
4×6 print = $15.00
8×10 print = $25.00
11×17 print = $50.00
As an additional incentive to the first 50 people to purchase the Artwork, if you purchase a 11×17 you will receive a free matching 4×6 and 8×10 thanks to our friends at AlphaGraphics.
If you are able to come to a LIVE event, 5×7’s will be available for $10 – no mailing costs means the entire donation will be submitted to Architecture for Humanity for the rebuilding efforts in Haiti.
Thank you for ongoing support and encouragement!
Sincerely,
